The Problem

FILTEC was contracted to design, supply and install a new WTP for Seddon to provide at least 700m3/day of treated water. The current water supply in Seddon is a small part of a larger Awatere water supply and is not treated to requirements of Drinking Water Standards for New Zealand (DWSNZ).

What We Did

The Seddon Membrane Water Treatment Plant (MWTP) is an automated process plant designed to reliably and automatically supply 700 m3/d of drinking water, compliant with New Zealand Drinking Water Standards (DWSNZ 2005 (Rev. 2008)) and Marlborough District Council’s specific requirements, related to Aesthetics and Protozoan Credits (3-Log upgradable to 4-Log), as per the Contract Specification. The Seddon MWTP includes the Design, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of a Water Treatment Plant
