Installed and commissioned in June 2006, these Trojan Swift 24 units have now been operating for over 2-years and have proven to be very reliable.
The medium pressure UV systems have just recently had their first lamp change after the manufacturers recommended End of Life (in hours) had been exceeded.
Back-up, prompt service and reliability of installed equipment are key performance criteria for Filtec when supporting our customers. Part of the service is regular visits to site to complete, and record, the monthly UV Intensity Sensor Reference checks. These checks are required to comply with the NZ Drinking Water Standards, and thus ensure the water supply is safe to drink.
