Filtration Technology were chosen to design, build and commission the upgrade of the Te Aroha WTP.
This involved retrofitting Brentwood tube settlers inside each existing up flow clarifier, supplying new RG sand filters and providing an automated backwash and chemical dosing system.
Typically tube settlers will increase the capacity of an upflow clarifier by 100%.
